My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moose is ready for his new family! He is a gentle giant and absolutely loves cuddles and affection. Toys and treats are a priority for this big boy! This handsome guy would love to hang out with you on the couch (if there’s room!) or go on adventures with you and your family.

He’s very active but seeet as can be. Moose does not do well with chickens or small farm animals.

He’s up to date on his vaccinations and is ready to join your family!

Please call the shelter during office hours Mon-Friday 7:30-4:30 or send us an email to inquire about this sweet boy!

Additional adoption info

When adopting an animal from the shelter, you have to pay a $100 fee for dogs and a $60 fee for cats. We have a contract with Atmore Animal Hospital and the fee you pay for your pet will give you all yearly vaccinations, a rabies vaccination , and a spay/neuter for your dog/cat at this hospital specifically.

Go meet their pets

You can come see our pets Monday through Friday 8am until 4pm at the Shelter on Cindebran Drive in Atmore, Alabama! Or you can call us at (251) 368-0859 with any questions or concerns!

(Please note: If you are interested in any of our animals listed here, please call us. We have a small staff and don't always get around to checking emails.)

More about this shelter

We control animals in the Atmore area and we adopt out as many animals as we can! We are in a partnership with the Poarch Creek Indian (PCI) tribe of Indians! They have helped out so much and we appreciate all the money and help that they have donated to our cause!
