Hayward, born May 2025, is a very very soft brown tabby who came in from an unwanted litter in Hayward. She is in foster care currently and loves to sleep with her foster mom and really loves lap time. Hayward, when the time is right, also loves to play with her foster friends and gets the zoomies and during those times, she is all kitten. She really loves her foster mom, and hopes that her forever mom will be just as wonderful. Hayward really hopes to find a new Home for the Holidays!
All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org
When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.
Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed.
If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
