My name is Maverick!

Hi, I’m Maverick. I was a very skinny boy when I first came to Illinois from my home state of Kentucky. I’m slowly gaining weight in my foster home and learning about living life inside a home. I am crate trained but do appreciate the couch or a human’s bed to sleep on, it’s so much more comfortable than the cold, hard ground I once slept on. I heard my foster Mom say I play hard but I also sleep hard – all night long and enjoy a good sleep in cuddled under the blankets. Playing with other dogs is a favorite past time, meeting new people with a tail wag, going to work with my foster Mom – behaving in the office of course, exploring forest preserves and going to dog friendly stores. My perfect home would be one with an owner that likes to be outside, takes me on lots of adventures, car rides, and dog parks because I need and love to run! If you are looking for a handsome gentleman with the love for the outdoors and people, I am your guy.

The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
