Meet Frankie! She`s an affectionate and playful kitty who seizes every opportunity for love and pets. Once she settles into your lap, her purr engine starts running!

Currently, Frankie is in a space by herself, as the presence of other furry friends overstimulated her a bit. With fewer cats and more space, we believe she will warm up to another cat, especially with the right introduction and patience. We believe she could also acclimate to a cat-friendly dog.

If you`re looking for a lap cat with the most soothing purrs, Frankie is the girl for you!

Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes age appropriate vaccinations, preventatives, spay/neuter, and their microchip. You can fill out our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1, or you can stop by our shelter during our open hours of 1pm-4pm Tuesday-Saturday.

Submit Application

We have a short questionnaire that can be filled out before or during the meet and greet. We do not use the questionnaire to "approve".

Interview

We utilize conversational adoption. This may happen during the meet and greet or via phone before a meet and greet.

Our cat adoption fee is $110, $150 if you adopt a pair, and our dog adoption fee is $150.

You can bring your own carrier or we can provide a cardboard carrier for an additional $5.

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Go meet their pets

Come meet our cats and dogs Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. We have a meet and greet room for our doggies, so you can spend time with them in a larger space or walk with them outside!

We believe our shelter and volunteer programming will give hope, purpose, and friendship as we connect paws and people.
