Gothel is a quiet, observant girl who’s still learning that people can be kind and safe. When she first arrived, she was very unsure of us—but over time, she’s begun to take those brave little steps forward. She’s not quite ready to dive into snuggles, but she’s starting to let us pet her and is slowly building trust, day by day.
Gothel needs a patient and understanding home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. She’s not the kind of cat who will rush into your lap—but if you give her the space and love she needs, she just might choose it on her own. Watching her transform into the cat she’s meant to be will be one of the most rewarding experiences you can have.
Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or you can stop by to see us Tuesday-Saturday from 1PM-4PM.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Come meet our cats and dogs Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. We have a meet and greet room for our doggies, so you can spend time with them in a larger space or walk with them outside!
