My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Caesar – The King of Cuddles

Caesar is an affectionate adult kitty with a big heart and an even bigger purr! This handsome boy loves his people and never turns down a good snuggle session. He’s the perfect mix of lovey and playful—happy to chase a toy one minute and curl up beside you the next.

Caesar is great with kids and would make a wonderful family companion. He can be a bit selective with other cats, so he might prefer a home where he can be the star of the show or share space only with feline friends who respect his royal boundaries.

If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will shower you with love and charm his way into your heart, Caesar is your guy!

His adoption fee is $110 and includes his neuter, microchips, up to date vaccinations, and preventatives. You can apply to adopt him at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop by to meet him Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

We have a short questionnaire that can be filled out before or during the meet and greet. We do not use the questionnaire to "approve".

2.

Interview

We utilize conversational adoption. This may happen during the meet and greet or via phone before a meet and greet.

3.

Meet the Pet

4.

Pay Fee

Our cat adoption fee is $110, $150 if you adopt a pair, and our dog adoption fee is $150.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

6.

Take the Pet Home

You can bring your own carrier or we can provide a cardboard carrier for an additional $5.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Go meet their pets

Come meet our cats and dogs Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. We have a meet and greet room for our doggies, so you can spend time with them in a larger space or walk with them outside!
