Don’t be fooled by her glamorous resting sass-face, Romanda is incredibly affectionate and loves her people deeply. She’ll charm you with head bumps, purrs, and all the sweetness you could ask for… but be prepared: this girl has opinions, and she’s not afraid to express them. When she gets overstimulated, she may dole out love bites that are a little more “spicy” than most.

Romanda is quirky, confident, and full of personality. She adores attention on her terms, gives affection generously, and then, true to her fiery nature, lets you know when she’s had enough. She’s best suited for someone who appreciates a cat with character, humor, and a bit of an edge.

If you’ve got experience with spirited cats and want a loving companion who keeps life interesting, Romanda might be your perfect match.

Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-one or you can stop by to see us Tuesday–Saturday from 1–4pm!

Submit Application

We have a short questionnaire that can be filled out before or during the meet and greet. We do not use the questionnaire to "approve".

Interview

We utilize conversational adoption. This may happen during the meet and greet or via phone before a meet and greet.

Meet the Pet

Pay Fee

Our cat adoption fee is $110, $150 if you adopt a pair, and our dog adoption fee is $150.

Sign Adoption Contract

You can bring your own carrier or we can provide a cardboard carrier for an additional $5.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Go meet their pets

Come meet our cats and dogs Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. We have a meet and greet room for our doggies, so you can spend time with them in a larger space or walk with them outside!

We believe our shelter and volunteer programming will give hope, purpose, and friendship as we connect paws and people.
