Venus may be named after the goddess of love — and with time and care, she’s ready to live up to that name. At just 4 months old, Venus is a sweet, gentle girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She’s currently very shy, but her soft eyes and quiet presence hint at the affectionate companion she’s waiting to become.
With the right family — one that understands the power of patience and kindness. Venus will slowly start to trust, open up, and show just how adorable and loving she truly is. A calm home and a gentle touch will go a long way with this little one.
If you’re someone who believes that every shy kitten deserves a chance to shine, Venus is waiting for you. Give her the love she deserves, and she just might become the brightest star in your life.
Venus is available for adoption through All God’s Creatures, located at 2205 E Washington Street in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Her $110 adoption fee includes her spay/neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations and preventatives. You can meet her in person Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or get a head start by filling out our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.
