Please meet Corey! She’s the most wonderful Chi I ever met. We estimate her to be not more than 1 years old. She gets along well with the entire household of pets including a schnauzer who is almost 4 times her size. Smile!
She is incredibly affectionate, does not mind cats, full of healthy, happy, playful energy, and an absolute joy to be around. She barks a little when I leave for work but settles down quickly.
She’s still getting potty trained and spends her time running in the yard with her resident canines or curled up next to you. I have not done any leash walks. I expect she’ll need to learn how that works but she’s super smart so that should be easy.
Whoever gets approved to adopt this sweetheart will feel like she won the lottery. I cannot say enough good things about her!
Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. We have a quick but thorough adoption process. We ask you to fill out an application and we will touch base with you by phone. If we feel you are a good fit for the animal you would like to adopt based upon your application, we will want to do a home visit and have you meet the pet. If everything checks out, we will ask that you sign an adoption contract and pay a donation - usually $75 for cats and $150 for dogs. This includes all vetting, spay/neuter, vaccines, etc.
Our contract allows us to come visit you and your new family member after the adoption to make sure everything is going well and your new pet is happy & healthy.

Good Karma Pet Rescue is a small network of foster homes in South Florida dedicated to providing dogs and cats in need with the love and help they need and deserve.
GK was started in 2011 by Stacey Chen, who decided that she could best provide for her foster animals by starting a rescue that aims for best care rather than high volume. We intend to stay as small as we need to be to ensure that every one of our foster animals is treated with the same care and respect we show our own furry family.
