My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carol is a small mixed-breed sweetheart. Now retired from her days as a devoted mama dog, she’s ready for a forever home where she finally gets to be the one doted on.
Carol is a classic Velcro dog, the kind who happily follows her person from room to room. She gets along well with other dogs. We’re not sure yet how she feels about cats.
Carol would thrive in a home with older children who can respect her space and gentle nature.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, Carol is your girl. She’s ready to leave her mama days behind and start her new life as someone’s cherished family member. Apply at ghhs.org

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
