Danish doesn`t just like people-he adores them. This friendly shepherd/Husky mix(33lbs,DOB 1/25/25) is sweet, social, and great with other dogs. Basically? He`s everyone`s new favorite.

Once you have chosen a pet, you will submit an adoption application and pay the fee. Dogs- $150 Cats- $85

More about this shelter

The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.

BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
