Pirate is a charming gray tabby kitten with the softest, velvety coat you’ll ever touch. His name comes from his playful little growl when vying for toys or food—and a little clouded left eye from a healed scratch that doesn’t slow him down one bit!
Rescued from an extremely dangerous situation just in time, Pirate has blossomed in his foster home over the past couple of months. He’s docile, curious, and observant, carefully exploring new situations at his own pace. Feather wands and interactive play are his absolute favorite—especially when a human is involved!
Pirate thrives in calm, consistent environments and would do best in a home with adults, where he can continue to heal, grow, and feel safe. He’s excellent with other cats, especially those with mellow personalities, and is careful to defer to dominant cats.
This talkative, affectionate little guy loves being petted and will happily tell you all about his day while he explores. Pirate is ready to find a loving home where he can continue to thrive, play, and share all his sweet, quirky charm with his forever family.

WAAL is an action oriented group dedicated to rescuing animals in crisis.
