This little guy is Hunter. Hunter is an approximately 2 year old, 22lb mix breed (but is working on gaining a pound or two). Hunter is neutered and UTD on vaccines. He is a very sweet, happy boy-- a nice balance of active and relaxed. He is eager to spend time with his human(s), immediately snuggling up on an open lap. Hunter makes a great movie/TV buddy-- he has no concept of personal space and will fall asleep on you.
He is working on crate training and, though he isn't thrilled to be inside of one, he will not mess inside the crate; he does best in a non-wired crate though, since he attempts to be like Houdini. He is mostly potty trained but, like all dogs in new environments, he may have a couple of accidents while still learning the ropes.
Hunter gets along well with large breed dogs-- he is currently in foster with 4 60-90lb foster 'siblings' -- he would love a home with a large doggy sibling or two (must be fixed and UTD), since he thinks he's one of the big dogs. He has been introduced to a cat and did well. Because of his jumpy nature and puppy antics, a home with dog-savvy children 8+ is recommended. Additionally, a fenced in yard (vinyl, wooden, chain link) is required for Hunter, as he does fit through the 'bars' of aluminum fencing-- which he fully takes advantage of. Hunter would benefit from professional training, as he is eager to learn, but is still pretty much a blank slate.
