Ash is a young (7 months old), Pit/lab mix who is very sweet and affectionate. She is current with her vaccinations, dewormed and heartworm negative. We will spay and chip her. Playful girl, good with most dogs, good with children and okay on a leash.

All of our animals are adopted as indoor pets with outdoor privileges. Our adoption fee for dogs is $100. Adoption fee for cats is $45. Filling out of adoption form is required.
We adopt out of state and will work with reputable rescues.
All phone calls will be returned within a 24 hour period.

The shelter is open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 9-2 and on Saturdays from 9-12. Or by appointment.
We will make arrangements for meet and greets outside of Washington if necessary.

Washington Wilkes Animal Shelter is a small, open door shelter. We strive to save every adoptable animal that is surrendered, orphaned, abandoned, abused and neglected. All animals are spayed/neutered at time of adoption, vaccinated. All dogs are heartworm tested/treated at time of adoption.
All procedures administered to the shelter animals are funded solely on donations. We are in constant need of monetary donations to continue the vetting of these animals.
