HELP! HE HAS BEEN GIVEN A DEADLINE OF 3 PM TODAY DUE TO POSSIBLE RINGWORM. SKIN SCRAPE FOR MITES WAS NEGATIVE
WE ARE COURTESY POSTING THIS DOG FOR THE MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER TO HELP THEM FIND A HOME. The shelter is severely overcrowded and desperately needs help finding adopters. Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate; therefore, many are losing their lives simply due to a lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out about their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today!
This beautiful dog is located in the Moreno Valley shelter. Shelter needs to clear kennels. They are over capacity and all available dogs are in urgent need. Please visit or email the shelter directly to adopt.

The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old.
I weigh approximately 45.00 lbs.

STAFF NOTES: Toblerone (A547705), a sweet and stocky 3-year-old shepherd mix, desperately needs a rescue. He is suspected to have ringworm, and due to how contagious and zoonotic it is, the vet has mandated that he must exit the shelter by 3 PM on 12/06/2025.
VET NOTES: 12/04/25 17:59 Dog does have a circular area of alopecia on left ear pinna. The underlying skin is crusted and flaky. Pattern is suspicious for ringworm.
Recommend medical rescue by end of day 12/6 or mercy (euthanasia) may need to be considered to prevent infectious spread.

Upon initial inquiry on one of our pets, we begin the process by having all potential adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we then set up a face to face meeting with the pet you are interested in. A home and yard check is required prior to adoption. Once adoption is finalized, an adoption fee is collected, an adoption contract is agreed to and signed by both parties, and the animal is turned over to it's new adoptive owner/family. Follow ups take place during the first month to insure the pet and the household is adjusting to the pet, and any issues, questions or concerns are addressed.
