Oakley is an adorable orange tabby boy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. He and his sister Ash are two peas in a pod, always plotting their next bit of fun together. Oakley is a tech-savvy little guy—well, sort of. His favorite hobby is chasing the cursor across your computer screen like it’s his sworn enemy.
He’s also incredibly dog-friendly in the most charming way. Oakley loves to stand on his back legs and give his canine buddy a full-on hug, or proudly deliver toys to the dog to see if he’s in the mood to play. And if that tail starts wagging? Game on. Tail-chasing time.
Oakley must have a feline friend in his forever home—bonus points if that friend loves to play, snuggle, and follow him into adorable mischief. If you want a charismatic, playful, loving boy, Oakley is your guy.
This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.

Adopt a new furry friend
Our volunteer foster homes get to know their fostered animals well and understand their personalities—allowing us to make great matches between people and pets! Let us know about your family situation, current pets, and the type of pet you are looking for and we can guide you to animals that would be a great match.
Our primary adoption site is the Angel’s Wish Pet Adoption and Resource Center at 161 Horizon Drive, Suite 106 in Verona-just a few minutes from Madison. Visit adoptable animals, and get acquainted in private visiting rooms. Open hours are Saturdays 10am to 4pm and Sundays 1pm to 4pm.
We also hold weekly adoptions on Sundays from 1pm to 4pm at Petsmart East in Madison at 2216 East Springs Drive.
Stop by a regularly scheduled or special “mobile” adoption event at locations throughout Dane, Jefferson, and Rock counties. Please see our website to see where the pets will be next!

More about this rescue
Angel’s Wish is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2000.
Mission Statement
Angel’s Wish is dedicated to reducing animal overpopulation, rehoming companion animals, and raising awareness of animal welfare issues in South Central Wisconsin.
Why are we called Angel's Wish?
Lois Lawrence, a founding member of Angel's Wish, once rescued a kitten from a construction site. Weak with starvation, dehydration, and a severe upper respiratory infection, neither veterinary treatment nor Lois’ love and care could save the kitten from the effects of that hot June day. Angel died that night in Lois' arms. We believe that Angel's Wish would have been that no other animal be subjected to pain, suffering, abandonment or neglect.
About the Animals of Angel’s Wish
We divert animals from ever arriving at area shelters, and as space allows, assist rescue groups and shelters. We accept only animals we have space to care for, and euthanize only for severe medical or temperament reasons. Animals stay in their current home or are cared for in volunteer foster homes until adoptive homes are found.
