Meet Walter! Here's what his foster mom says about Walter: Walter is a chunky chill bug with a playful spark. He loves nothing more than being near his people. He has a lot of puppy energy now, but we think he will be a much more mellow dog when he gets bigger. He is goofy and bouncy and loves to chase balls, chew on sticks, and romp around the backyard. He definitely explores his world through puppy nibbles, so working on appropriate things to chew on will set him up for success. He learns fast - during his 2-week time in foster care he was already giving paw and high fives. It is impossible not to melt around this boy; he reminds us of a baby panda. He is also making great progress on potty training and does well with frequent trips to the backyard. While in our care, he was sleeping through the night in his pen while having his brother by his side, so he may cry a little at first when he is alone for the first time. But with reassurance and routine, he should get used to his new life quickly. Walter is affectionate, smart, social, and loyal. A perfect fit for someone who is ready to embrace puppyhood and help him grow into the incredible dog he is meant to be.
