My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cressida is a beautiful young adult black cat with a gentle soul and a story full of resilience. Found on the streets after bravely raising a litter of kittens, she has left her rough beginnings behind and is now ready for the comfort and love of a forever home.

Despite everything she’s been through, Cressida remains incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager to bond with the humans she trusts. She loves soft pets, warm laps, and quiet moments spent close to someone who cares. Her calm, loving nature makes her an ideal companion for anyone seeking a kindhearted, loyal feline friend.

Cressida has given so much already and now she deserves a peaceful, safe home where she can finally be cherished in return.

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
