My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Norman is a young-old man of a cat, he wise in expression, mellow in spirit, and forever sporting that “just woke up from a nap” vibe. With an appetite that never quits, Norman is always convinced it’s snack time, even if he just finished eating five minutes ago.

A little spaced out in the most charming way, he’s the perfect companion for slow evenings and quiet company. Norman loves nothing more than settling in beside you while you watch TV, blinking sleepily as if he’s following the plot… or maybe just vibing to the background noise.

He’s got one eye that looks a bit different from other cats’, but it’s his own special version of normal and nothing to worry about. It only adds to his quirky, lovable old-soul charm.

Steady, sweet, and delightfully zoned-out, Norman is the cozy couch buddy everyone needs.

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
