My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola is a sweet, gentle Kitty with big, expressive eyes. A short time before coming to us, Lola was hit by a car and treated at a local emergency hospital. She was abandoned there and the staff reached out to us to help this sweet girl with her recovery and to find a new home. We brought her to Homeward Bound and Lola has been spending most of her time in a foster home recovering from her injuries. She is doing better, but is still on cage rest which means jumping, running, and playing are not a good idea for her yet. Because Lola will need special care, we want to make sure she goes to a home that will be right for her needs until she fully recovers. We believe Lola will be best suited to a quiet home where she is the only pet until her recovery is complete. If you would like to meet Lola, please submit an application on our website. We will need to check veterinary and landlord references prior to her going to a new home.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!
