Sargent's (Sarge) owner passed away unexpectedly leaving Sarge looking for his forever home. Sarge is 5 years old and roughly 65lbs. Our best guess is Pointer / Lab / Hound mix of some sort.
Hes the goodest boy and deserves to find a home that will appreciate his goofy energy. Hes been nicknamed Sargento because hes the big cheese.
Sarge is well mannered on a leash or harness and will collect rocks, yes rocks, to bring home to play with. Hes used to going on daily walks followed by napping on the couch. Sarge knows basic commands, house-broke, fully vetted and utd on shots including influenza. He has been around my 1 year old with no issues aside from trying to share his milk bones and occasionally stealing a stuffed animal. Sarge was raised with another dog but takes a minute to warm up to new dogs. He will not do well in a household with cats as he sees them more as prey then friend.
He will come with a bed, blanket, and plenty of toys.
