My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Teddy – The Quirky Senior Gentleman 🐾

📅 Age: Senior (suspected older adult)
🐶 Breed: Shepherd Mix
⚖️ Weight: 43 lbs
💉 Status: Ready for Adoption

Teddy is a sweet, quirky senior with a personality all his own. He’s calm in his kennel and walks with a certain “prissy” elegance—though he may freeze on the leash if he doesn’t want to go a certain direction. Teddy is house-trained, non-aggressive, and easy to handle, making him a gentle companion for a patient adopter.

Though he may seem a bit stubborn or cautious, Teddy’s charm shines through once he’s comfortable. He might have vision challenges and his teeth show signs of age, so he’s best suited for someone ready to care for a senior dog with a relaxed, understanding home.

🐶 Teddy at a Glance:

• Calm, quirky, and full of character
• House-trained and easy to handle
• Walks slowly and “prissily” on leash
• Non-aggressive, affectionate in his own way
• Senior dog with some health considerations

🏡 Teddy’s Ideal Home:

• A calm, patient environment
• Owners who understand and appreciate senior dogs
• Someone ready to provide gentle care and companionship

Teddy may not be the most energetic pup at the shelter, but he’s a loyal, one-of-a-kind gentleman who’s ready to enjoy his golden years with the right family. 🐾❤️We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday (1PM - 5PM)! No Appointments required!
