My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Derick — a brave little kitten with a heart full of love.

Abandoned with his sister, he was far too young to start his life with challenges no kitten should face. But with the safety, warmth, and care of his foster home, he has absolutely thrived.

Derick has blossomed into a bright-eyed, playful, and incredibly affectionate boy. He purrs the moment you pick him up, loves exploring new spaces, and is always ready for cuddles. His foster says he’s a total sweetheart who wants nothing more than to romp with other kitties then snuggle be near his people.

Now, Derick is almost ready for his forever home — a place where he’ll never have to worry again and can continue to grow into the wonderful companion he’s becoming. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient, and irresistibly sweet kitten, Derick is waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer, donation only funded organization that operates in the Abbeville County South Carolina communities.

Our primary focus is on providing services to cats as they are not served by the county animal shelter (dogs only), however, we assist with dogs when the shelter cannot.

Our TNR program began in 2018 and we continue to focus our attentions in reducing the population of unwanted animals.

Our foster program is provided primarily for abandoned and dumped mothers and otherwise motherless kittens.

We do not have a physical facility. Our animals are cared for in private foster homes.
