My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tina, a gentle soul with a heart as big as her playful spirit! This gorgeous girl is a unique mix of Labrador, Pitbull, and possibly even a herding breed, giving her a one-of-a-kind look and an even more extraordinary personality. At about 70 pounds, she’s got some solid “main character energy,” but don’t let her size fool you—when Tina gets excited, she turns into a delicate little dancer, prancing around with her whole bottom wiggling. It’s impossible not to smile.

Tina is estimated to be around 4–5 years old and is hoping to find her forever family to share all her love, loyalty, and goofy antics with. She has a playful side with a sweet, dainty playstyle that makes her a joy to be around. She’s great with kids, though because of her size, a home with children 5+ would be ideal to avoid any unintentional toppled toddlers.

Tina isn’t overly interested in toys; her favorite kind of fun comes from playing with other dogs. This girl is a total social butterfly with other dogs and loved her shelter playgroups. She absolutely adores her foster brother, and the two have become the cutest pair of best friends. A canine companion not only makes her happy, but will also help her work off those extra pounds she’s aiming to lose.

Tina does have one unique quirk—she can be fearful of men at first. But with patience, consistency, and a gentle approach, she learns quickly that she’s safe and warms up beautifully. She’s a smart girl who listens well, is easily redirected, and truly wants to please her people. She’s also proven to be cat-friendly, peacefully living with cats in both her previous home and her foster home.

Tina loves getting out for walks—you can tell it was part of her routine in the past. She may pull a bit on the leash when something catches her nose, but she does wonderfully with a harness, which is a better fit for her size. She already knows “sit” and “down,” and just when you think she’s had enough affection, she’ll gently paw at you for a little more love. This girl soaks up every bit of attention she can get!

This Christmas, give your family the most perfect gift—welcome Tina into your loving home. She promises you won’t be disappointed.

More about this rescue

We are a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue with a big heart. We're not breed specific—we're need specific. We believe every life matters and focus on quality over quantity, giving the most vulnerable animals the care and love they truly deserve.

We rescue dogs from local shelters who are facing the unthinkable—those suffering from severe medical issues caused by abuse, neglect, or tragic accidents. These are the dogs often overlooked, the ones whose futures hang in the balance.

In our care, they find more than just medical treatment—they find safety, compassion, and the warmth of a loving foster home. We guide them through every step of their healing journey, ensuring they receive the surgeries and care they so desperately need.

When they’re ready, we match them with forever families who will love them as fiercely as we do. Every dog we rescue is a life reclaimed, a story rewritten—and a reminder that love truly can heal.

We are always looking for volunteers, fosters and new business partnerships. Donations are an added bonus and help us to provide the care that our animals need.
