If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.
Starr is a little bit over 6 months as of December, 2025. Starr had a rough start as a baby kitten, but with medicines and procedures, he has no health issues now, and no special needs from the loss of his left eye. Starr will be the perfect addition to any home and such a helpful boy; he comes running when called, he wants to cuddle in your lap, he wants to be with you! He just has to see everything from his one eye. He will help your your hygiene in the bathroom (loves to help with make up) but he wants a drink of water from the sink to do that. He prefers you cup your hand and give it to him. He's super social, full of energy and still learning his manners when playing and learning not to play bite. You can help him continue to learn with wand toy playing and watching with small children/babies. He loves other cats and has been around dogs also! He's a special boy who deserves the best! Adopt Starr today! Approved applications will be contacted within 48 hours.
All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:
While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat. Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.
If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at www.safehousepets.org/info/adoption and a volunteer will contact you promptly.
