My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Loving - Affectionate - Gentlemanly**

Frida & Loui are a bonded pair searching for a Loving home. They've been through so much in their 2 years of life, yet they remain loving and playful. Loui is a Love Bug! The love he gives will explode your heart into a million fuzzy pieces and you'll never regret it for one minute! He loves to cuddle; his huge purr can be heard from quite far away; it has a deep quality with the addition of a higher pitch that reminds one of tiny ringing bells! He adores gentle brushing; he has an old injury that makes grooming difficult on some body areas, so he is extra appreciative of your help with this. He's adamant that he must remain in tip-top shape so he's always looking good for his Person! He recently had a shave, so after all his creamy fur has filled in again, Look Out!...As ZzTop said, "Every Girl Crazy Bout A Sharp Dressed Man"! And not to worry that grooming duties will be yours alone because Sister Frida helps out; she gives him a "bath" after every meal, not particularly because he needs it, but because she Loves him! They definitely take comfort in being with each other! (RG 11/25)

Frida and Loui are a bonded pair and looking for a home where they can stay together. Their combined adoption fee is $250(includes a $50 discount for the pair). HOW TO MEET ME: This kitty is currently in a foster home. To start the adoption process for them, please APPLY ONLINE - applications are reviewed in the order received. After you apply, we may contact you to schedule an in-person meet-and-greet at the foster parent's residence. If you then decide to adopt, you'll complete an adoption counseling session and we'll schedule a pickup appointment. Adoption pick-ups may happen from the foster's residence.

A perfect place must be found, a home where they can live,

Secure and safe and happy with joy to get and give.

When they reach their Forever Home, a place to finally feel whole,

The Angels will smile and off they'll go to save another soul!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is a private, nonprofit organization that relies on individual donations, grants, and our own fundraising to operate. We receive no federal, state, or government funding.

Adoption fees help offset some of the costs associated with providing for the cats and kittens in our care—this includes housing, medical care, enrichment, behavior modification, and more.

CAT uses variable adoption pricing. The adoption fee for each cat is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, health, and demand.

Adoption fees range from $15 to $200 for cats (1 year old and above) and $100 to $200 for kittens (2-11 months old). Thanks to the Aleece Runge Fund for Senior Cats, the adoption fee for all cats 8 years and older is waived. The adoption fee for each cat is included in their pet bio.

Adoption discounts apply for adopting a pair of cats or kittens. For details about our adoption process, please visit: https://catadoptionteam.org/adopt/process-fees

More about this shelter

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest non-profit, limited-admission cat shelter with its own full-service on-site veterinary hospital. CAT works with our community to find loving placement for homeless cats and kittens in need. The cats available for adoption from CAT come to us through public surrender and through partnerships with other shelters, rescue groups, and veterinary offices. CAT works to take in cats that might otherwise be euthanized. With the support of our CAT community, we help about 3,000 cats find new homes each year, plus offer low-cost spay/neuter and other services to support cats and their families. Thank you for visiting our site and helping us save lives!
