As my name implies, I'm a sweet gal, and I love to spend my time roaming around and eating fresh greens. My ideal home would have a large, predator-proof outdoor enclosure that is fenced in. Since I'm a tropical species of turtle, I'll need some extra heating when I get cold, and access to a clean dish of water to take a bath!
Did you know? Red-Footed Tortoises are a South American tropical species, with some tortoises recorded as living 50 years or more! That's a long time to have a friend like me. We are known for being sociable and relatively easy to care for with a good foundation of knowledge.

You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays).
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
