Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Queue is a 2-month-old Belgian Malinois mix puppy with a stunning brindle coat and the heart of a little fighter. At just 12.8 lbs, he’s already shown everyone around him just how resilient he is.
Queue came to us after radiographs at AAC revealed a vertebral abnormality between T10 and T12—something that may be congenital or the result of past trauma. Because of this, Queue has some hindlimb weakness and rigidity, and his right hind leg sometimes stays extended. Even so, this tough little pup can stand, walk using his back legs, and go potty on his own, and we are so proud of the progress he’s made.
Right now, Queue needs strict activity restriction to protect his spine as he grows. That means crate rest, very short leashed walks, and lots of quiet cuddle time instead of puppy zoomies. He’s on medications to help keep him comfortable, and his care team will adjust his doses as he gains weight (which he will—this boy loves his meals!). Queue has a recheck scheduled later this month, and his long-term prognosis is guarded, but this baby is fighting hard and showing all the signs of a pup who wants to thrive.
Personality-wise? Queue is pure sweetness. He hasn’t shown a hint of behavior issues—just curiosity, gentleness, and that soft, trusting puppy energy. He loves affection, loves being close to people, and loves being told he’s a good boy (because he definitely is!).
If you’re ready to help a very special puppy write the next chapter of his story, Queue is waiting—brave, wiggly, and full of hope.
