If you're looking for a quality napping partner and an expert in belly rub appreciation, Coco is your guy! He loves to say hello, soak up all the snuggles he can get, and lean into every moment of affection.
With his gentle demeanor, Coco makes wonderful company (for both humans or cats!) He has previously lived with another cat, and may be a good fit for a multi-cat household with a proper introduction.
Coco is also part of the Edmonton Humane Society's Seniors for Seniors Program. To help the older felines in our care find loving homes, adoption fees for senior cats (ages 7 and up) when adopted by senior people (age 65 and up) are by a fee of your choice instead of our standard adoption fee. If you're ready for soft purrs, cozy naps, and endless cuddles, Coco is eager to meet you at EHS today!

Before you Adopt
Pet adoption is a big commitment. We encourage you to spend considerable time thinking about and researching the type of pet most suitable to your family. Most breeds have their own characteristic traits and specific needs which need to be considered. Remember that some animals have lifespans of 20 years or more.
Prospective adopters will meet the following requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have two pieces of identification, with at least one showing your current address and a picture.
- ALL FAMILY MEMBERS, sometimes including family pets, must be present during the adoption process.
- If you already have a dog and are considering adopting another one, you MUST be prepared to bring your current family dog to the interview. This will help you to determine if all family members and existing pets will get along with the new pet.
- If you live in rental accommodations, please confirm that your landlord allows the type of pet you are considering, and that you have paid your pet deposit before you adopt. There are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES if the building owner does not accept the animal. In addition, you will have to pay all regular surrender fees if you need to return the animal to the Edmonton Humane Society.
