Doppler has had a rough past few months -- he survived a devastating house fire that displaced him and his owner -- they were living in a camper with no heat in the cold, so she opted to surrender him to give him a better life. He needs a quiet home to land in -- with a single female to live with, where he can decompress at his own pace where he can receive affection and contact. He is extremely sweet and gentle when he is comfortable -- loves chin scratches and human interaction; he likes to be held and needs a experienced/confident cat owner -- when he wants down he wants down, and can be frightened into a panic by sudden movements or multiple people moving toward him. We believe that he has some fear of men. He has just been through a lot... He is a great house guest with good manners; his ideal home would be with a single adult female and non-aggressive feline friends or as an only kitty. He has a $100 adoption fee.
All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized.

Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.
