Nacho came to us from Yuma where he was struggling in the shelter environment. He has turned out to be a very sweet and polite boy in his foster home. He seems to be housetrained and does ok in a crate though also has nice manners and does not get into things he shouldn't. He follows his foster friends learning the routine and has been friendly and respectful with everyone though may not be a fan of dogs larger than he is. He is also a bit more timid with men but does warm. Nacho is only about a year old and healthy (neutered, chipped, current vaccines). He is 17-18 lbs. He walks on a leash and does not seem to be an excessive barker. Nacho seems like he could fit into lots of different types of family situations and would love a home for the holidays. We rescue senior. medical and special needs dogs from the community and shelters to save them from euthanasia. We bring these homeless dogs and cats to our sanctuary, or to live with one of our foster families, where they receive quality care, comfort and dignity. We provide a temporary or permanent home for senior pets for the remainder of their lives, or until they have received all the medical care needed to become adoptable. Our primary goal is to find a permanent loving and compassionate homes for senior pets while they are still experiencing quality of life.
