Jerome came to us from PACC and he has been getting healthier and feeling better in his foster home. He was diagnosed with valley fever but is responding well to treatment and barely coughing anymore. He is estimated at 4 years old and is around 13 lbs. Jerome seems to be mostly housebroken and is learning the routine in his foster. He is good with other dogs and reserved with strangers but does warm fairly quickly. Jerome seems like a sensitive soul who has had some loss and sadness in his life. He would likely prefer a less chaotic household and we believe him to be partially deaf. Jerome does well in a crate and walks on a leash. Jerome is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We rescue senior. medical and special needs dogs from the community and shelters to save them from euthanasia. We bring these homeless dogs and cats to our sanctuary, or to live with one of our foster families, where they receive quality care, comfort and dignity. We provide a temporary or permanent home for senior pets for the remainder of their lives, or until they have received all the medical care needed to become adoptable. Our primary goal is to find a permanent loving and compassionate homes for senior pets while they are still experiencing quality of life.
