Meet the Pet
***In addition to being available for adoption in Georgia, Chong can be transported to New Jersey and adopted at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes over the Dec 20-21 weekend. Chong and his buddy, Cheech-a young Lab mix, were found as strays at a hunting club. After no one claimed ownership and unable to find another immediately solution for the two dogs, SoCo Rescue was contacted and asked to help. With assistance from the Dublin-Laurens Co. Humane Society, Cheech and Chong were kept safe and secure until we could get them in.
Chong has a very friendly personality and loves everyone he meets. He has a pleasant laid-back, calm personality but still can be very playful. He's also very smart, showing signs that he should be very easy to train in different areas. Chong will do very well in a home with another dog and even tested well when cat tested.
Chong has been neutered, heartworm tested (neg.), received an update on all of his annual vaccinations and de-wormings as well as started and kept on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

An appointment to meet the dog(s) is set. A home visit is required. If all goes well at the meeting then the adoption will be finalized.
