My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gus, an 11 month old silly snuggle bug weighing about 35 pounds.  He's had a rough start to life as he was found as a puppy in an abandoned home and then hit by a car in his previous foster home.  He had surgery for his broken hip on December 2nd, is fully healed, and runs on that leg with no issues. He enjoys  playing with the dogs and is learning not to be too rough. I also have free range chickens and he does great. He gets along with adults and kids of all ages.  I'm not sure if he is potty trained because he uses a doggy door so would ere on the side of no.

The perfect home for him would be someone that is active but home a lot as he loves hanging out with his family and snuggling on their lap.

If you think you’d be a good fit he won’t disappoint.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee for dogs is $125 and $90 for cats, regardless of whether the pet is a pure breed or a mixed breed. All of our pets are Vet checked for health, spayed or neutered, wormed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and micro-chipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, and placed on preventative. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All injured pets receive any treatment or surgery needed to restore them back to good health!
To adopt a pet from All Paws, or to find more information on one of our pets, visit us at any adoption event, e-mail us at adopt@allpawsrescue.info, write us, or call us on the PAWS Line at 636-288-2999. Because we are a foster home network, we make efforts to meet adopters at times and places convenient to all involved. We do ask potential adopters to first complete a pre-adoption form, for the purpose of ensuring your compatibility with a pet, as well as your eligibility to own a pet. After the pre-adoption form is reviewed and OK'd, we require adopters to complete an adoption contract. We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation; but reserve the right to refuse adoptions based on the information we interpret from these forms, with regard to legalities, and the pet's needs or requirements. We try very hard to make every adoption, a happy and satisfactory one!
