My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar is no grouch, but he was living in a trash bin. This sweet young male Syrian hamster was surrendered with 9 other hamsters from a family that got overwhelmed with a few too many accidental litters. Oscar and his family were getting into fights (as Syrian hamsters are solitary animals - so they should be kept alone) so the owner separated the hamsters into various bins and containers till we could take them in. Fortunately Oscar is now hanging out in a nice temporary hamster approved habitat until he finds his forever home. Oscar does not mind being handled and is very friendly, he would be a great hamster for a first time owner.
