My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mittens is an adult female Campbell dwarf hamster that is searching for her forever home.

Mittens was given to us by a local Petsmart after they found that she had a tumor on her chest. Mittens had surgery to successfully remove the tumor, but unfortunately she was diagnosed with cancer. The store was not able to sell her, so they gave her to us so we could hopefully find her a forever home.

We are not sure if Mittens’ cancer will return, but we hope that we can find her a great home to live whatever time she has left to be spoiled and loved!

Mittens does not mind being handled but she would prefer to explore her habitat and make elaborate burrows.
