Phoenix #2's Story
Meet Phoenix, a gentle giant of a pup with a heart as big as her size (weighing in at 60lbs)! This calm and cuddly girl loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you and being your constant companion. While she may be shy when exploring the world outside her home, Phoenix is a confident and playful pup indoors, occasionally getting the zoomies and entertaining everyone around her. She currently lives with her two dog siblings, a cat, and young children.
Phoenix is a quick learner and knows some basic commands, making her a smart cookie who is eager to please. She is house trained and crate trained as well.

Unchained Melodies goal is to match the right dog with the right family. Each application is read carefully and every adoption application will receive an automated e-mail response if the application is submitted properly through unchainedmelodies.org. A follow up e-mail or phone call after receiving the application will be made within 48-72 hours of receiving the complete application. Meet and greets with the entire family are required. We do not adopt "outside dogs" or "guard dogs" We require home visits and we do not facilitate out of State adoptions.

Vet checks and landlord confirmation is required.

Meet the Pet
Private meet and greets are set up with all dogs and all family members of the applicant. A 2nd with any owned dogs.

Home Check
Virtual Home Visits may be require. They used to be sure the home is safe for the dog.

We do offer a "foster to adopt" program which allows the dog to live in your home on a trial basis to be sure we are matching the right dog with the right family. *Applications and Foster to Adopt programs do NOT guarantee or require commitment to adopt a dog.
