Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Snoopy! He is a 4yr old neutered male Black and Tan Coonhound/Rottweiler mix that weighs 60lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/6. He is such a gentle and loving boy. He can be a bit shy and timid at first but wants to be friends. He enjoys leaning in close to be petted and loved on. He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently and knows the sit command. He is a bit thin so he will feel much better when he puts on a bit of weight. Walking through the shelter with other dogs barking he didn`t show any interest in them. We do always ask if there is another dog in the home to please ask the shelter for a dog test. When I left the room for a moment, he howled a bit to let me know he wanted to come with me. He did enjoy going for a walk, stretching his legs and taking in all the smells. As he is a big boy he will need to have a home, not an apartment, that has a secured yard he can play in but definitely live indoors so he can enjoy plenty of couch time with his human companions. If you can offer him all of this and much more, come meet this great pup!
