My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clover and Licorice are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Hi there! I’m Clover, the braver and sillier half of this duo. I’m playful, curious, and absolutely obsessed with toys—especially wand toys and anything that moves! If you’re flipping the pages of a book, don’t be surprised when I try to stick my paws between them. Everything is fascinating to me!

I might be cautious when someone first walks in, but once I know you’re friendly, I’m happy to be petted and even picked up. I love brushing, I use the litterbox perfectly, and I enjoy cardboard scratchers like a pro.

I’m still figuring out how I feel about other cats and kids since I haven’t met many, but I’m sweet, gentle, and getting braver every day. And I absolutely adore my brother Licorice—we cuddle, play, explore, and comfort each other.

If you want a playful kitten with a soft heart and a curious spirit, I’d love to meet you!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
