Toby is a very sweet chocolate yorkipoo. Unfortunately, Toby has severe separation anxiety. It has been that way from the first day we met. It has gradually improved over the past year but still can be difficult to manage. Toby would do amazing with someone who can be around a lot. (A family, retired individual, SAHM, work-from-home situation, etc. would definitely be a great fit for Toby.)
I live alone and have a busy work schedule. I gave up one of my jobs recently (for various reasons) which has helped Toby to have company. But I can’t do that forever.
Toby does amazing with my friend’s family (4 people, several pets) and I think it’s because he always has human contact (someone is usually at home or if everyone is away, it’s very brief).
He LOVES to be held and cuddled. In fact, he’ll almost sigh in relief at being held.
