Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Dottie. I'm just a petite little 4-month-old kitten that has been dealt a rough hand. But guess what, someone cared enough to get me help and to Always and Furever. I was very nervous and scared with all the changes but have quickly learned I'm safe. You see I came to A&F on 12/6/2025with two ruptured eyes and had no sight. On 12/8/2025 I had both eyes removed. I'm doing pretty well although I hate the cone they are making me wear. I think I will feel even better once thats gone. My foster mom speaks softly to me and holds me on her lap as I try my best to find a comfortable position. I am looking forward to finally being healed, in my furever home with my furever family. Please don't let my loss of eyesight scare you, I know I can be a great companion!
From my Foster mom: The first night we had Dottie we let her decompress as she was scared and unsure in her new surroundings, plus I'm sure she had to be in pain or at least uncomfortable. The next day I spent some time with her and once she realized I was safe she was all over me, purring and jsut seemed so happy. After her surgery she was scared again - so much changes going on for this little four-month-old kitten but I think she already recognizes my voice and seeked me out to get comfort. She will be ready to be adopted after her sutures are removed in a couple of weeks. She deserves only the best from now on and nothing less.
