Meet the Pet
This helps Piedmont Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet Peanut A tiny little package absolutely exploding with big love.
Peanut and his brothers didn’t start out with the easiest beginning—found at just one day old, dumped in a shoebox. Peanut was the tiny runt, and he has a deformed front leg… but don’t tell him that, because he sure doesn’t act like it. He zooms around like a wild little puppy, plays with his brothers, and even keeps up with his much bigger foster siblings. He’s got a huge personality and is incredibly in tune with his people.
At this point, nothing can be done for Peanut’s leg right now, but he’ll be reevaluated closer to 6 months to see if any options open up.
This sweet boy has been an absolute dream foster—extremely affectionate, well-adjusted, and thriving in a busy home with both big and small dogs and a wonderfully chaotic family. He even tags along to the hair salon with his foster mama, where he is (obviously) a total fan favorite.
Peanut is the whole package wrapped up in a teeny body and is expected to be around 15 lbs full grown. His foster mom loves him… and if someone doesn’t adopt him quick, he might just be staying.
