My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Espresso isn’t people-friendly, but she would thrive as a working barn cat where she can count on safe shelter from heat and cold, along with regular food and water. She enjoys spending time with another independent, not-so-social cat, Knight-Rider, and the two often relax together in a windowsill (pictured). The two would make a great pair for a responsible owner looking for hardworking, outdoor-savvy cats who prefer to keep their distance but still appreciate a consistent, caring environment.

🐾 Ready to Adopt a working cat? Tip 1: It is important to remember that she/he is going to need time to acclimate to their new environment – better to place in a confined space with food, water and litter box for about a week or two before releasing into a barn-like open space area. TIP 2: Please make sure your home or lease allows pets and that you and others are prepared to welcome a new cat. TIP 3: For any pet, have the essentials ready: food and water, cat food, litter and a litter box (when needed), space for cozy, warm bedding, carrier and a designated veterinarian for ongoing care and/or vaccinations.
