Meet Crusty! Crusty is pure joy in dog form — a wiggly, snuggly, tail-wagging bundle of happiness. He’s as sweet as they come and absolutely adores people, especially children. He gets along wonderfully with other animals and his adorable personality shines brighter every single day. Energetic, playful, and always ready to crawl into your lap for cuddles, Crusty will greet you at the door like you’re the best part of his whole world. Because to him… you are! Crusty has a bit of anxiety when his people first leave, so he may shake or bark at the beginning — but he settles down once he realizes everything is okay. He does especially well if he has another dog buddy around. Crusty is mostly blind, but he can still see something — he loves following shadows and staying near his humans. He navigates life with courage, sweetness, and a whole lot of tail wags. We’re working through some house-training hiccups. He may have an occasional accident or lift his leg indoors, but since being neutered he has already made significant progress. With a patient, structured routine, he will keep improving. You may apply to adopt Crusty at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. We believe Crusty to be a Terrier mix and around 9 years old. His adoption fee is $185 and is vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped and neutered. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
