We found this sweet girl on the side of the road about two years ago, and she’s estimated to be around 3–4 years old. She’s a very loving and affectionate cat, but also tends to be independent and aloof. She enjoys quiet company and gentle routines.
She can get scared by loud noises and, instead of running away, she sometimes reacts by trying to “defend” herself from whatever startled her. Because of this, she would do best in a calm home without young children. She gets along well with other animals we currently have a dog and another cat, and she has done great with both. It truly breaks our hearts to rehome her, but with a baby on the way, we know we can’t give her the quiet environment she needs to feel safe. Our hope is to find her a home where she can be relaxed, understood, and loved. She’s a very sweet girl who deserves a peaceful, caring place to settle in.
