My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨ DAWSON - Shepherd Terrier Mix - DOB 10/08/2025 - Currently 8 pounds - Healthy

Meet Dawson

Dawson is a little puff of love — gentle, trusting, and impossibly sweet. She has that tender puppy charm that makes you fall for her instantly. One look into her soft eyes and you can tell she’s ready to bond deeply with someone who will guide her, love her, and make her feel safe in this big new world.

Personality

Dawson is gentle-hearted, curious, cuddly, and wonderfully sensitive. She loves soft play, warm laps, and following her human around like a tiny shadow. Shepherd mixes are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and emotional depth — and even at her age, Dawson already shows signs of being a deeply connected companion. She is the puppy who blossoms beautifully with patience and affection.

Breed Info

Shepherd mixes grow into smart, loyal, medium-to-large adult dogs. They thrive with structure, training, exercise, and bonding time. They are known for being devoted to their families.

Owner Responsibilities

– Provide training, routines, and gentle boundaries
– Potty training, crate training, and socialization
– Patience during chewing, teething, and curious puppy moments
– Safe environment + supervision
Take her to your own vet soon after adoption even though she is healthy.

Things to Consider Before Adopting

– Puppy time demands: supervision, training, patience
– Landlord rules for adult dog size/breed
– Your schedule — puppies can’t be alone long hours
– Long-term life plans (moving, finances, housing stability)
– Shepherd mixes need mental and physical activity
– Preparing for 12–15+ years of commitment

The 3-3-3 Rule

Give her 3 days to settle, 3 weeks to learn your rhythm, and 3 months to feel truly home and confident.

Why Dawson Will Be a Great Addition

Dawson has the kind of sweetness that lights up a home. She will become the dog who listens for your footsteps, curls beside you at night, and grows into a loyal companion overflowing with love. She is pure-hearted devotion in puppy form.
