My name is Athena!

Athena is a special part of our family . She was rescued during a difficult time in our family and has provided emotional support for my son and our family . She is very loving and attuned to emotional needs . Now my son is away in college and I travel for work she often spends day alone while dog sitter come to take her out and for walks . She deserves to be in a home with companions and a yard to play . She was raised in apartments so she can adjust to small spaces although she is a gentle giant . She loves other dogs even cuddles with the neighbors tiny Chihuahua . She does get excited on lease when walking simply because she doesn’t get out as much as she should and wants to play . Although she is 8 she is still very playful and active . Athena is full house trained an is on a pretty flexible schedule . She is a great dog and needs and deserves a great home and happiness as she has made us .
