Hi I’m Misha, a 5 month old, 5 pound tuxedo cat. I was wandering the streets of Annandale when I was found by a nice lady and came to Fancy Cats & Dogs to find my forever home. Right now, I’m very slim with a long tail. Cute fact: I have thumbs! It’s not an extra digit, it’s just that my thumbs are lower on my foot than normal. It’s so cute!
I’m very playful, curious and affectionate and bond quickly to the human who plays with me and feeds me. My favorite activity is playing with a wand toy with a fake mouse at the end (my foster mom says I can take it with me to my forever home). When I feel scared or shy, my favorite place to hide is under a bed, but I’ll quickly come out to play if the wand makes an appearance. After playing, I do enjoy some down time to recharge. I don’t love being picked up, but will tolerate it if necessary.
I’m getting to know my foster home’s three other cats and am deferential to older cats. I’m curious, respectful and easy about getting to know them.
I always use the litter box and sleep through the night. I rarely meow, preferring to chirp when I want your attention. I would love to find a home with someone who can give me daily play sessions and lots of petting. My foster mom says she’d adopt me in a second if she didn’t already have three cats!
Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
