My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING!

***Prissy is currently located in the Dublin, GA area. Prissy can also be transported to the Ringoes, NJ area for adoption over the Dec 20-21 weekend. An application for her adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Prissy and/or our adoption procedure should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number. Prissy is a courtesy listing and her current owner will have final approval on her adoption.***

For most of her life, Prissy has lived in a wonderful, very loving home. She has shared the home with adults, children, other dogs and even cats, getting along great with each and every one of them. Her need for a new home has come about after her current owner suffered a physical setback and knows it's best to find a new home for her beloved Pug.

For those accustomed to the typical Pug personality, you'll understand when we say that Prissy definitely has the typical Pug personality. She's fearless, extremely playful and always willing to join in when there's a good game of tussle amongst her canine friends. She's a little "mouthy" when she plays but has never been aggressive towards or bitten anyone or another animal. And while she's fine with children, she does like to chew on small toys, but nothing else. Despite those minor "bad" traits, Prissy also will bring you lots of love, kisses and snuggles. Again, she's a typical Pug!

Prissy has always been kept up to date on all of her annual vaccinations, vet care and monthly preventatives, even just having all renewed. That's why she's a very healthy girl who has always been heartworm negative. She's also been spayed. Prissy has been excellent on her house, leash and crate training but may need a little time to adjust to new routines once in a new home.
