Meet Sarra, a gorgeous 2.5-year-old brown tabby with soft swirls of caramel and chocolate who has waited far too long for a place to finally feel safe and cherished. This gentle, loyal girl has a heart as big as her rumbling purr—she’ll greet you with slow blinks, quiet head boops, and the kind of steady, calming presence that makes a house feel like home. Sarra isn’t looking for much, just a peaceful spot on the couch beside someone who will love her forever and let her settle in at her own pace. If you want a devoted companion who will reward every kindness with endless affection, Sarra is ready to be your girl. Available for adoption on 12/9.

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
